This simple inline device is designed to prevent your camera from been damaged by your solar power supply. Often your regulator will put our more than 12 Volts, this can go as high as 14.5 in some cases when the battery is low, and the sun comes out and your system tries to recharge the battery.

It will restrict the voltage to a max of 12,5 Volts.
